SECOND ANNUAL GREENSBORO OYSTER ROAST PROVES TO BE PEARL
GREENSBORO, NCThe rain and clouds faded just in time for the Greensboro Oyster Roast 2005, held at the Irving Park home of Bill and Martha Halstead on April 23. The event drew 310 people raised $35,500 for Family & Children's Service of Greater Greensboro Foundation, which helps fund services and programs in Greensboro provided by Family Service of the Piedmont. Deb Taylor served as chair of this year’s Greensboro Oyster Roast.
Guests enjoyed oysters and other scrumptious edibles from Pepper Moon, while listening to the music of Buff-N-T.
Family & Children's Service of Greater Greensboro Foundation appreciates the support of 110 host couples from the community for helping make the event a success.
